Little is known of buildings where dignitaries lived or public offices and ministries were located. Photos of such buildings have rarely been published. The buildings are often dilapidated or else they were destroyed during the war and torn down later on. Yet other buildings were renovated or covered with greenery and/or painted, so that their origins are quite often no longer apparent.
